Fransabank and Mr. Riad Kosri, son of the belated Warda El Jazairia, held a press conference on the 28th of May 2013 at the Adnan Kassar Edifice for Arab Economy to announce the launching of Warda El Jazairia’s latest video clip “Eyyam”. The conference was held in the presence of H.E. President Adnan Kassar, Chairman of Fransabank Group, Mr. Nadim Kassar, General Manager of Fransabank Group, H.E. Minister Walid Daouk, a repesentative of Algerian Embassy in Lebanon and Mr. Riad Kosri along with producer Moueness Khammar, Mounir Bou Assaf the song lyricist and the composer Mr. Bilal El Zein. The team and actors who worked on this project made the trip from Algiers and a large number of Lebanese and Arab media representatives were attending.

 

“EYYAM” is Warda El Jazairia’s latest song and comes as an aspirational outrcy to the Arab world with its messages about life’s essence, love, peace and forgiveness. Mr. Riad Kosri announced during the press conference the launching of the new clip from Beirut to be aired on all Lebanese and Arab Broadcasting TV Stations.

 

In his speech, H.E. President Adnan Kassar praised the legendary singer and spoke about her Lebanese and Algerian roots that made her an iconic symbol representing the strong relationship that Lebanon and Algeria have been sharing throughout the years. Mr. Nadim Kassar, who is also Chairman of Fransabank’s affiliated bank in Algiers Fransabank El Djazair, stressed on the important role that Fransabank El Djazair played in its contribution to the production of this clip as part of its commitment not only to the economy of Algeria but its art and culture as well. 

 

The Press Conference was followed by a cocktail reception, offering the press  opportunity to conduct one on one interviews with the team members who worked on the production of the video clip.
