​Fransabank released its Economic Bulletin for the First Half of 2013, which includes a report on Lebanon’s Macroeconomic performance during the First Half of 2013. The Lebanese economy recorded a retreat in its economic activity in the first half of 2013 relative to the first half of 2012 due to the current turmoil in Syria that is severely affecting the Lebanese economy, amidst modest domestic political tensions.
